Sylvari for sure. I adore their art direction and starting area (although I’m not a big fan of their city). Second runner up is Norn.
I still can’t pick a class, though. Right now I’m leaning heavily toward thief although I’ll miss having a pet. I just didn’t really have that much fun *playing* a ranger and honestly the pet wasn’t tanking nearly as well as I had hoped (I feel like I noticed some difference this time around but it could have been wishful thinking).

The fact that I can just jump into PvP at level 1 really takes the pressure off picking a class. I tried out three different classes in PvP today and I can just keep messing around until I find the right build/fit for me. :D
(Pictured above is the Sylvari thief I made for myself after I was all done streaming this weekend - I loved her!)

Oh god no. I’ve done nothing but moving stuff all weekend and this week is jam packed too. Unpacking (boxes EVERYWHERE) and then Sashi’s surgery and then more unpacking because did I mention boxes. And maybe getting internet. XD I’m pretty much sitting out E3 this year. I really enjoyed going last year but life just happened to neatly arrange itself ALL over E3 so I’ll be peering at the news when I can but I won’t have the chance to watch any conferences or attend. XD

Will purchase when I get back to SoCal if I have extra time to game. Right now my schedule is SO insanely booked up here with moving (much larger project than anticipated XD) that D3 is more than enough to keep me entertained.
But when I’m back in SoCal I’ll be looking for a variety of games to stream and I’m considering Torchlight 2. It’s just a matter of time constraints right now.

I won’t be able to participate. D: I don’t have the time right now, especially with D3 coming out tomorrow night. :3 I know I’ll be spending a solid block of time in D3 in the first few days so I need all the time I can get to pack and take care of things.
Plus since it’s a literal stress test I’m expecting downed servers and lag and such. I LOOOOOVE GW2 but I’m way too busy right now to make it for such a short test. :(
Oh well. Diablo 3! :D

Reeeeaaaaaaally not an RPG fan. I have a difficult time getting into any single player games. A game’s storyline has just never been an attraction for me. I did give a shot at Lunar Silver Star Story and enjoyed it to some degree I just.. I get lonely so quickly in single player games. XD
I think RPGs are awesome, they’re just not for me. I LOVE watching Sashi play Final Fantasy games though. :3

Nope. D: No time until June. I have three days left here to make content for the rest of the month. T_T I’ll be giving it a shot once I’m back in SoCal, though! So probably June. Maybe with some live streaming. :p

REALLY great. I went into the game with no expectations (neither good nor bad) and came out pretty blown away. The leveling didn’t feel remotely grind-y, the combat felt incredibly smooth (performing abilities while moving is fantastic), the graphics were lovely, and above all it was fun. I spent the time I had set aside on Friday for editing a video together to just play more. I didn’t want to log out.
I lucked out when it came to login problems, lag, and disconnects. I had zero login problems, lagged out only three times, and lagged up only once or twice that I can recall. I know many, many people had a ton of issues with login/stability/lag but fingers crossed this is what beta is for and these things will be fixed before launch.
In theory that’s what ArenaNet will be doing between now and the next beta (which, on twitter, they estimated being a month away).
I feel really good about my choice to purchase the digital collector’s edition. The fact that there’s no sub fee guarantees that I can log in whenever to play with people, PvP, stream, etc without worrying about if I’m getting my $15/mo out of this.
