It took a crapton of work to find a breeder that wasn’t some random back-yard-breeding-grandma-put-two-dogs-together-because-they-looked-cute operation. XD We ended up driving a few hours north to a dog show to talk directly with the head of the local Papillon breed club chapter and she introduced us to a few responsible people who show their dogs and only breed champions. Of those few there was only one lady who had any plans for puppies in the next year (and in fact they had been born one week earlier <3).

So we made the choice to drive two and a half hours to see her and the puppies when they were 6 weeks old. This is a couple months sooner than we had planned but that works out alright. <3
